The SKYROUTE communications system uses the existing cellular network to provide reliable and cost effective digital communication for your security system. Everyday, more and more people use cellular telephones to keep in touch with the world around them. Your cellular phone is a convenience and more importantly it provides you with a sense of safety and security knowing that you can always remain linked to the people that mean the most to you. Cellemetry is a breakthrough technology that utilizes the cellular control channel to send information to your monitoring facility. Phone Line Loss Standard phone lines are vulnerable. Communication is dependent on miles of copper cable placed in or above the ground. Many factors can affect your phone system, bad weather, construction work, accidental line cuts or even intentional line cuts by an intruder. The loss of your phone line will inconvenience you and compromise the communication from your security system. Since SKYROUTE is cellular, it uses airwaves rather than standard telephone lines to send information, and therefore still functions in the event of telephone line loss.
