Another important aspect of hardware, when it concerns security, are the magnetic door/window contacts installed. The best we've ever seen come from a manufacturer in Texas by the name of George Risk Industries. A long timer in the business as well, George Risk is considered the mark by which all others are judged. From hermetically sealed door and window switches that are impervious to the elements to rare earth magnets that are the truest in their field. And when Northwest installs them in your home, you won't even know they are there!
Keypads....
One word..... "Simple" . That's the best way to describe DSC's keypads. The Northwest standard is the DSC LCD5500Z. Large, backlit, 2-line display. Plain language display of zone status, trouble conditions, event buffer, system instructions, date and time. 5 programmable function keys. English or Spanish display. Teamed with our standard Power832, with the ability to program up to 38 four or six digit codes mean that each member of your family will have their own unique code. You can even have your system page you for certain events, such as when the kids get home from school, or your maid leaves for the day. And if your teenager has a curfew, you'll know if they made it or not!
